Facing Our Doubts

Series: Facing Life's Storms

The first lesson in David Banning's series on "Facing Life's Storms", from John 20:19-31.

It's okay to have doubts; we just need to find the proper way to address them. When doubt arise, consider these points:

  1. Our attitude (including when someone comes to us with doubts...)
  2. Processing (handling) doubts
    1. They don't get better if left alone
    2. Don't jump to a conclusion
    3. Fairly examine the evidence
  3. Our responsibility to make a decision based on what we find
    1. There's danger in seeking questions vs. seeking answers (which comes back to our attitude)
  4. The implications of what we find. If Jesus is the Son of God, what does that mean for us?
