The Language of Ashdod

In Nehemiah 13, Nehemiah comes back to Jerusalem to find intermarrying between the Jews and the surrounding people, such that half of the children spoke the language of Ashdod and half spoke the language of the Jews. The question for us: how can we keep our language from becoming perverted from God's language to the language of the world?
